A CHAIR WITH MINIMAL USE
OF MATERIALS
I have designed a chair to be as ergonomic as possible while using little material and having a distinct visual character.
The chair has no upholstery to limit material use and environmental impact. The shape contribute to the ergonomics and create an identity in the chair that differentiates it from other chairs Håg’s catalogue.
The seat encourages 360 degrees sitting based on Peter Opsvik’s philosophy. The seat’s shape allows the hips to be more open when leaning forward to promote good posture.
