The project is set in the future of 2040. Use of Fossil fuels was abolished in 2035. Even with the large changes in society the world didn’t hit the climate goals for 2030. As a result of climate change the temperature in some parts of the world regularly reach dangerous levels as well as heatwaves in other parts of the world.
The project is a concept for a future Flokk as a option of future products that can be developed using excisting and new knowledge.
The project aims to solve a problem of heat management when air conditioning and cooling large spaces is too inefficient because of limited access to energy. Cooling the body directly instead of the air in a whole room is more efficient use of energy. The suit cools the body by moving heat away, capturing the heat in heat energy in batteries. The energy stored in the heat batteries can later be used as heat energy or be converted to a small amount electricity, to offset some of the electricity used by the suit.
